To
learn about PreViser's risk and disease analysis software and how
to use the toolset, you may turn to any of several
learning resources described below.
PreViser
provides a var iety of resources to help you learn the
program quickly and become proficient in using this
toolset to perform Risk Assessments and to benefit your
patients and your practice. These resources include
the following:
- Quick
Start Guide is a brief set of instructions
to help you immediately set up and begin to use the
application, including some key issues for you to
remember. If you have not yet seen this concise information,
view it here.
- PreViser
User's Guide is a Help file that includes
comprehensive information about using all aspects
of PreViser. The User's Guide displays in a separate
window, so you can have the main application open
and refer to the User's Guide simultaneously. It ships with the software and is also posted here on the Support site for your convenience.
- A
set of tutorials (posted here on the Support site) provide basic lessons on particular
topics, giving step-by-step instruction for specific
tasks.
- Documentation
(included in the User's Guide and on the Support site) provides detailed
explanation about every component of the PreViser
application. Explore the functional logic of the tools,
so you understand how to input data correctly, and
access the information you want. See the PreViser
Features and Functionality chapter the User's Guide of for the most detailed
documentation.
- Running
the application in Training/Demonstration
mode lets you explore and evaluate the features
of the application, enter "dummy" data, without worrying about
affecting the actual medical records of your real
patients or incurring charges while you are learning
about the tools. Using the program in Demo Mode is free of charge. Note that "demonstration mode" only simulates the flow of the program, showing sample reports, and does not generate new reports with data you enter. No data is transmitted over the Internet.
- Context-sensitive
Help on screens in the application allows
you to open a Help file on each screen of the application to view definitions and
explanations for terms and features on that screen, to give you the specific
help you need as you need it. For example, if you
are asked to rate the patient's level of diabetic
control, you can click the Help button on that page, and the definition
of how PreViser classifies diabetic severity will
pop up for your reference.
If
you need technical assistance or have a problem you
can’t solve using the above resources, you can
contact PreViser Support by phone or email.
