PreViser
creates effective web enabled diagnostic decision support
tools for Dentistry and Medicine using patented methods.
Dental applications (DDS products) are completed, with
Medical applications (MDS products) the next stage of
development. All employ the same software architecture,
and all deliver the same capabilities to expand the
clinician’s understanding of the complete state
of a patient’s health.
PreViser
currently offers two coordinated DDS
products that address the majority of diagnostic treatment
decisions made in dentistry. The first is built around
the RiskCalculator™ for gum disease, while the
second is built around the RiskCalculator™ for
tooth disease. All PreViser products are and will be
composed of four core elements, all protected by the
Company’s patent:
1.
A Risk Assessment & Health Calculator
that uses PreViser’s proprietary process
to produce an accurate and objective risk score and
disease severity indication that rates a patient’s
likelihood of developing or advancing chronic disease,
based on an analysis of key risk factors and current
health.
2.
An Appropriate Treatments Calculator
that matches the observed clinical conditions and
risk assessment of the patient with a “best
practices” treatment database to identify that
range of treatments most likely to achieve the health
objectives. This library allows an insurer processing
claims from providers utilizing PreViser technology
to identify appropriate care and pre-approve treatments,
greatly reducing claims management expense.
3.
A Treatment Option Plan Generator
that summarizes risk and appropriate care
options and recommendations into a provider and patient
friendly format that enhances the trust relationship
between patient and dentist, while improving patient
outcomes.
4.
An Outcomes Measurement Module that
compares actual treatment outcomes with projected
treatment outcomes that are anticipated by the Recommended
Treatment Plans. Data collected through this module
allows for the refinement of the Appropriate Treatments
database to identify and fine tune therapeutic options
that yield the best patient results.
Product
design focuses on creating tools that require little
to no change in the way in which a clinician currently
operates. The overriding design objective for the user
interface is to ensure that using the tool is easy,
fast, and enhances the provider’s clinical operations.
