The links below provide a detailed list of the many enhancements, changes, and fixes in each released version of the PreViser Oral Health Information Suite™ (or the OHIS™, or simply PreViser™).

Each new version includes all the fixes and features built into previous versions, unless otherwise noted. We encourage you to check that you have the most current version installed on your computer(s).

Version 3.0 (Released September 09, 2007)

Enhancements:
  • Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Java-based application is platform-independent.
  • PreViser international licensing partners can translate the program into non-English languages; already available in Japanese, soon available in Hebrew, with more languages to come. Learn about PreViser licensing.
  • Refined and improved treatment recommendations consistent with research and current best practices.
  • Improved web services for even easier third-party integration (for universities, software developers, etc.)
  • New Correlation Report augments periodontal risk and disease assessments to show correlation between the patient's PreViser scores and the American Academy of Periodontology's Guidelines for the Management of Patients with Periodontal Diseases

Changes:

  • Reduced data entry time by removing the "Treatments Performed since last risk assessment" screen from risk assessment wizards
  • Quicker, easier network setup for practices or organizations using more than one computer
  • For periodontal assessments, "Bleeding on Probing" data is now collected for each sextant
  • New database format means faster response time for larger practices with many patients
  • Report settings are selected before data transmission
  • Lines in graphs marking "What Changed" are now color-coded to identify each score's trends, rather than previous hard-to-read markings on lines differentiating the various scores
  • Periodontal assessment asks optional question for female patients to indicate whether the patient is pregnant (this factor does not go into the calculation of risk or disease scores)

Fixes:

  • Fixes to all known issues
