Basics about Running the RiskCalculator™ in
Training/Demonstration Mode

Included as part of the User Support resources available to help you learn the application is the option to run it in "Training/Demonstration Mode". After you have initially installed the software, you can select this mode at any time to operate in this demonstration environment for your learning and training purposes.

The output is fictitious in terms of the report contents, and runs separately from your normal, fully-functional mode of the RiskCalculator™, so you won’t actually save, delete, or have to worry about “breaking” anything in your real patients' records!

There is no charge to download or use the RiskCalculator™ in Demo mode. You do not need an Internet connection to run the program in Demo mode, as the data is not sent out for risk calculation; running the program in Demo mode takes it offline.

To select or deselect the Training/Demonstration mode:

1. To activate Demo mode, click the Options button (at the top of each screen) to display your Options page.

2. In the bottom left hand corner of the screen, click the box marked "Training/Demonstration Mode" so it is selected (checked). Click the Save button.

3. The application is now running in Demo mode. It will remain in Demo mode (even if you close and re-open the application) until you change that setting.

4. To change the application and deactivate Demo mode, open the Options page and uncheck the Training/Demo mode box. Click the Save button. The application is now in normal, fully functioning mode.
